American Idol Katharine McPhee gives back at The Forgotten Harvest Food Bank



American Idol runner-up Katharine McPhee is getting into the holiday spirit by attending a donation event at the Forgotten Harvest Food Bank.
To celebrate Chase's donation of $5 million to the Feeding America organization, Katharine McPhee joined the Forgotten Harvest Food Bank in Detroit, MI in helping raise awareness about hunger in Michigan and all across the United States.

Katharine is a member of Feeding America's Entertainment Council, which is chaired by actor David Arquette and includes other celebrities like Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Marcia Cross, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Sheryl Crow, Josh Groban, Ali Larter, other "American Idol" Kimberly Locke, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Rachael Ray and Alison Sweeney.
